fast, fun & easy: Painting Ceramic Bisque
This series was written for anyone who wants to learn (or improve) acrylic painting on ceramic bisque, plaster, gypsum, or wood. If you are new to painting ceramics or crafts, these books are for you. If you've been painting a while but think there's more to learn and more fun to be had, or if you seem to be "going through the motions" - doing something because someone told you to, but not explaining why - then these books are for you too.

Once you know what you're doing, you'll be able to experiment and decide how YOU want things to look - and how you don't want them to look. You'll learn what bisque is, how it differs from other paintable surfaces, and what products work best on it. You'll learn the basics of many popular finishing techniques - enough to get you started on this versatile hobby. This book is a very useful introduction to all acrylic painting. 8-1/2" x 11", spiral bound, 21 pages, black & white illustrations.

Perfect eyes
Book 2 - Perfect Eyes
Book Two - "Perfect Eyes" is our absolutely most popular book. It helps you get over the fear of painting eyes on your craft projects. You'll learn with simple, step-by-step illustrated instructions, how to paint the eyes on just about any project you're working on. Simple eyes, complex eyes, eyes for dolls, figurines, animals, cartoonical characters - it's all here. This book truly takes the mystery out of eye painting. Intended for use with acrylic painting, though the techniques shown here will apply for just about any medium, including face painting or embroidering on cloth dolls. 8-1/2" x 11", spiral bound, 22 pages, black & white illustrations.

Foolproof Drybrushing
Book 3 - Foolproof Drybrushing

If you've ever admired a beautiful wildlife figurine, but were skeptical about being able to duplicate the look on your own projects, this book may be just what you need. You'll learn, step-by-step, how to perfect this delightful technique. You'll be amazed at how easy you'll be creating impressive, beautiful pieces of artwork for your home and as gifts. Anyone Can Antique
Book 4 - Anyone Can Antique
With this book you will learn several different methods of finishing your painting projects. Using readily available acrylic water based or oil-based products, you'll learn how different one item can look using the same colors, but different methods of applying them. You'll learn how to mix techniques on a craft project to achieve even more variety. You'll even learn how painted figurines that look intricate and time consuming, are really quite quick and easy to do. 8-1/2" x 11", spiral bound, 18 pages, black & white illustrations.

Beyond the Basics
Book 5 - Beyond the Basics
If you've been painting for a while - whether on bisque, plaster, gypsum or whatever - you might enjoy this book. It contains creative uses for your leftover paints, and even your worst mistakes. You'll find many truly unique items you can create using readily available standard pieces of bisque or plaster or wood. Over a dozen of the most popular faux finishes are explained too - including marble, granite, and concrete. All are done with very simple 3 or 4 part methods, using acrylic paints. Use these techniques all through your home. 8-1/2" x 11", spiral bound, 19 pages, black & white illustrations.

Project Journal
Book 6 - Project Journal
Our "Project Journal" is the final book in this six part series. Though not exactly a how-to book, it's a very useful tool you'll be referring to over and over. This is the book created and used in our design studio. Each craft project has its own page. There's a place to list the products used, how you used it, and the order it was used in. Next there's a space for a photo of the finished item. Then the item is added to the contents page. As you fill the book, you'll find yourself referring to it when you want to duplicate a project a year later, to refresh your memory about how a particular technique looked or was done, or to simply review your progess and improvements. 8-1/2" x 11", spiral bound, 28 pages.

It includes many of today's most popular and successful selling methods. You'll find explanations on how to get started, what up front costs to expect, and what problems to avoid. Each method includes a summary detailing it's pros and cons. There are also sections on creating the company image you want, pricing your crafts, promoting yourself, and much more. Painting Bisque Dolls
a non-fired technique: Painting Bisque Dolls
"Painting Bisque Dolls" was created in response to a number of requests. Many people want to make dolls, but are afraid of working with porcelain. This technique eliminates that problem by using acrylic paints on bisque. No firing is involved, but your dolls will turn out beautiful. You'll learn how to apply a soft, gentle coloring for skin (any skin color), plus how to paint eyes and lips on all kinds of dolls. You'll also learn how to apply a hint of blush. These techniques work great on bisque or any other smooth paintable surface, even fabric! 5-1/2" X 8-1/2", spiral bound, 28 pages.

Greeting Bears
Greeting Bears
Imagine how nice it would be to send a thoughtful little gift instead of just a plain old greeting card - but without costing any more. You can do it - easily. Greeting bears are so easy to make, you can even create them in batches. Send them in place of a birthday card, or a thank you note. Think how much a sweet little bear holding a tiny bouquet would cheer up someone who's ill, or make a new neighbor feel welcome. Even if you have never worked with any of the polymer clays such as Sculpey® or Fimo® , you'll have no trouble making these 2-1/2 inch bears. Instructions take you step by step with lots of illustrations to guide you. Easy enough for children to make, and fun to accessorize too. Spiral Bound 8-1/2" X 11", 16 Pages.
