Here's a pattern that's fun to make, versatile and easy! Made from cotton jersey, t-shirt knit or other slightly stretchy fabrics. Dress is calf length, with long sleeves and a short standup collar. Pinafore has slight shoulder caps and a gathered skirt, with an optional tie belt. Both close in back.

Alice in Wonderland Dress
This dress is styled after a favorite childhood classic. The dress has full sleeves with narrow cuffs, a small collar and back snap closing. We couldn't decide if we liked the full gathered skirt (shown in pink), or the paneled skirt (in blue) better on the dress, so we've included both in the pattern. Pinafore has flared shoulder caps and separate front and back panels, all connected by the belt. A little pocket is on the front of the pinafore. Dress is pretty even without the pinafore.

From another childhood classic story, this dress was a lot of fun to make. Dress has a split bodice, with white on top and blue checks on the lower section. Shoulder straps and waistband add detail. One of our fanciest dress patterns, for the most special occasions. Two versions included in the pattern. Dress skirt is a full circle, with two lace trimmed layers. Circular collar is lace trimmed, as are the sheer, ribbon gathered sleeves. We added a purchased trim to front of collar. Back buttoning dress is knee length.

Sailor Dress
Wonderfully detailed dress with all the charm of the traditional original. We've updated it a bit - made the skirt fuller, with full puffed sleeves and narrow cuffs. A fabric bow meets the wide collar corners at the center front, and a second fabric bow ties in back. Very full skirt, just below knee length. Dress buttons in back.

Pinafore has gathered cap sleeves, back ties and a full skirt. Pattern includes three optional full color iron-on transfers for pinafore yoke.
